Notary office and online application for a local notary has gone online.
Online notary applications can be found on the Oireachtas website www.irishstatute.ie.
The notary will have a phone number, email address and a website to contact them for more information.
Online applications are being accepted for a number of local notaries, including the notary in Kildare, the notaries in Derry and Cork, the Notary in Kilkenny and the notarial in Galway.
Online applicants will be required to provide a deposit of €100, with the money paid to the notario at the time of the application.
The Irish Times understands there will also be a small fee for application, though the application fee will be reduced for applicants who have a bank account or savings account.
Online application for the Cork County Register of Notaries will be available from the first of July.
Online requests for applications for the Dublin County Register will be open from 1 July.
Applicants must have a valid email address to be able to submit a notarial application online.
Applications are due on Friday, July 15, 2018 at 9am.
